Small Business Assistance and Advisory Service can offer many services ranging from dealing with informal complaints to conducting formal investigations.

Our team is experienced in dealing with complaints and issues at all levels of business, including conducting investigations involving senior executives and board members.

We don’t limit our workplace investigations to dealing with matters of evidence but we ensure we provide insight into the potential underlying causes of the complaint. 

Our team have conducted formal site-based workplace investigations to a high standard of procedural and substantive fairness, rigour and sensitivity in a range of industries.

Workplace Bullying: As well as investigation services, we provide a range of resources to help you effectively investigate and manage complaints of workplace bullying, sexual harassment and discrimination. We can also evaluate your existing policies and complaints management processes and advise on ways to improve.

Misconduct Investigations: Investigating allegations of serious misconduct can be tricky. Our experienced team can help you determine whether there is sufficient evidence to support termination of the worker’s employment on grounds of serious misconduct. We can further advise you on correct procedures for dismissal.

Desktop Review: Our expert team of workplace investigators and consultants can assess the methodology of internal investigations, looking at factors such as the framing of the investigation, the use of investigation powers, the investigation plan and handling of interviews and evidence.
