Tomas has worked as an Audit Analyst at Deloitte, where he learned to read a process carefully and take nothing on face value, and as a social media manager at Natom Visuals, where he learned how a message actually reaches and moves an audience. Alongside his AI strategy work he is a capable web developer, which means he can not only recommend the right build but design and deliver it. Few people sit as comfortably across the strategy, the technology, and the communication as Tomas does. There is also a personal story behind the professional one. Tomas moved across the world and built his business here from scratch, with no connections, no referrals, and no knowledge of the local market. He arrived, worked it out, and made it happen anyway. That experience gives him a deep and genuine empathy for the founders he works with, because he knows exactly what it feels like to start from nothing and back yourself to figure it out.

When I arrived at SBAAS I did not know many people or understand much of the local humour, but the jokes landed immediately, and they have not stopped landing since. I have asked Eric to mentor me in the craft. He agreed without hesitation. We now workshop material together, and I consider it one of the most rewarding professional relationships I have. I understand this puts me alongside Johnson, and I understand what that means. I have also noticed that Trudi, Valeria, Ashleigh, and Savannah have, between them, developed a remarkable set of expressions that appear the moment Eric and I begin. I have not decoded all of them.
