An Important Team Note
Johnson Chen is, to the best of our knowledge, the only member of the SBAAS team who genuinely laughs at Eric’s jokes. Not the polite, professionally maintained chuckle that the rest of us have developed as a survival mechanism. An actual laugh. Sometimes more than once. We have investigated whether this is strategic. We have found no evidence of insincerity. Johnson simply finds them funny. Eric is delighted. The team remains divided on whether this is endearing or deeply alarming. Either way, Johnson’s willingness to reward Eric’s material has almost certainly made things worse for the rest of us. We consider this his one significant professional flaw, and we have chosen to overlook it.😄
